NEW UPDATE!! 11/20 Secret Santa 2013---OPENING DAY-DECEMBER 8 @ 4PM EST!!!!

I have been trying to catch up on the thread but to no avail. I picked up a few things for my SS recipient yesterday. Going to look through some things this morning. But mostly waiting for a big quilt expo I am going to next week to try and find the perfect thing for her.
I think I gave my SS enough in my post but will answer some of the questions that have been posted. I am not picky. I do like to read, I would like more of those quilt novels, historical type novel too. Used books and magazines are fine. Home made goods are treasured, whether food or other items.

KGoodhand, Bilben, and huntannette -- so I see that our Canadian sisters are all going to stick together in an attempt to conceal the identity of my Secret Santa until opening day. C'est la vie!
And to further torment me... there's always the possibility that my Secret Santa is none of you at all. She or he could be someone who prefers to listen and not join in the chat.

Last year I used my mother in laws address to really play with the idea of not knowing who sent the package!!! maybe the address on the package is not even the right one!! hehehehe

Well good morning all! I see we're getting responses as to opening times. Most are saying any time will be ok for them. I see internationals chiming in. At 6 a.m. their time, a move to a little later would be in order. 8 p.m. eastern time? Or would that interfere with dinner for some? Splitting the difference to 4 p.m. eastern would make it 11 a.m. for the ones in Australia. Shall we go with 4 p.m. eastern then? Usually that's between church attendance, before dinner & would give us plenty of time to take pics & post & play with our gifts. Everyone in agreement?? Please post your answers.
Hint for the day: You really must like apples, because you sure have a lot of them!

Here's a Time Zone converter. UK is 5 hours ahead of EST. Our clocks have just gone back an hour from BST (British Summer Time).
We in the UK go by GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) and it is the same time as Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), the international time used for aviation, shipping etc.
UTC is the basis for civil standard time in many countries, including the United States and its territories. Standard time within US time zones is an integral number of hours offset from UTC.
You might know it as Zulu Time.
So, Australia is 10-12 hours (big country) ahead of GMT/UTC and y'all are 5-7 hours behind (another big country).
Hope you got all that
