Had a wonderful shop hop/quilt show bus trip last Thu & Fri. Younger DD was home for a few days as she was in a wedding; she left yesterday to fly out to Iceland. Tomorrow we go to older DD's home for a visit and will return Sunday evening.
I have cut my strips and have sewn 2 sets of 10. Trying to get a picture with my phone at night is a challenge. The Riley Blake print is combined with a turquoise print, but in this lighting, it shows up as almost white. It didn't help that the two pics I took were both on print ironing board covers. I will look at them again tomorrow before we leave, if I can. If not, it'll have to wait until Sunday.
Monday I will be sewing to get caught up!

Love all the quits using 9-patches. For using the nine patches with a white background,I love this idea and would like one. I didn't think that in a swap such as we are doing, the whites would be all different. The idea of everyone using the same white would be best. For myself I would do the swap with the same white.
Are we doing the next swap with turquoise?
I was born in 37, is that why my bones creak?
Granyrose, your gown is beautiful. You mentioned your mother, did she make the gown for you?

I mailed a package off today also. Thought I'd better finish up since it's about to get real busy around here with travel. Looking forward to my return package--and the next swap! Love all of the pictures. Hope to get some help with posting pictures one day. Sally
