Where in Ohio are you? I am in Cleveland and there are several stores downtown in "China Town" that carry lots of loose teas.

I get my Yorkshire Gold from http://www.englishteastore.com/ they have free shipping if you spend over $75, a very helpful customer service dept., and very big selection of teas and tea related items. [no, I don't have any connection ] I am a loose tea snob, too, after I compared my loose tea with the tea in a tea bag....dust and pieces.

http://sfherb.com/ Here is a company I've bought from in the past. Their prices are fairly reasonable and they have other spices for good prices also.

What was the blend that you tried? Inquiring minds want to know! Does it have caffeine in it?

i use stash tea, online. they have many varieties of loose tea--from many different nations and plantations. i always check their sale and clearance sections--great deals! (and i love having it delivered to my door! it's like a party in a box when it comes.) teavana is nice, too, but i've only ever visited them at a huge mall that i get to once or twice a year. i was impressed by their selection, as well, but i love shopping in my granny gown, late at night online, even better!

Go to teavana.com. They have luscious loose tea. I wouldn't drink tea any other way! The Brits did something right!

SunlitenSmiles, I agree with you about the white teas. Just remember it has a lower water temperature for steeping than the black teas. If white tea steeps at too hot a temp or for too long, it tastes like grass. For everyday use, Red Rose bagged tea is my favorite. For loose tea, I buy it from the Queen Mary tea shop in Seattle. If you're ever there she (Mary) does a lovely high tea with all the pastries home made. I have no interest in the shop other than I always hope it will be there the next time I visit!
