late Christmas quilt done

I think your Christmas quilt and fabrics are beautiful. I'm glad to know that you were motivated to finish it... I hope you find the strength you need in every passing day to move forward and do the things you love. Sorry to hear about the loss of your husband.

Your quilt is a beauty and a great grief-therapy project. I find that I am reminded of life circumstances that were happening each time I look at particular quilts. This one will hold wonderful memories of the time you and your husband had together. It's a treasure. I am so sorry about the loss of your husband.

I had these christmas print squares and put them into a quilt. started this last month before I lost my husband. I just got back to it. Keepsake quilting had a large snowman on the front of theirs but I think I will not add him after all. The backing has green scroll border and the front has red. I'm thinking of two fabric border if I have enough of the green.

First, my condolences on the loss of your DH. Your quilt is beautiful just the way you've done it. I hope quilting will give you some peace, I know when I lost my brother suddenly at 52 from cancer, quilting a king size quilt for our bed helped me work through the grief. God bless.
