Here is my modified Goshen Star. I needed a 12 inch block to have enough to finish a Boom quilt and since this one could so easily be bumped up to 12, that's what I did.

Thanks for the Sept. blocks. They look challenging. I spent Labor Day weekend in Ft. Lauderdale with some of my family and I attended a Memorial service for a high school friend who was also a part of my extended family. I'm busy today keeping an eye on Hurricane Irma. People are panicking and water, batteries, bread, tarps, etc. are sold out and we don't even know where the storm is going. I am trying to get all of the laundry done in case we lose our electricity but I did manage to print the patterns today. No idea on the fabric I will use. I was going to make some extra blocks to use for a light weight summer quilt but I am so far behind on quilts that I think I will use these blocks to make 2 baby quilts for my DGGD. That would leave me with 3 quilts to finish. I love all of the different colors and I look every day to see the new eye candy.

I have mine finished. The Stanley templates did not work for me at all on the arrow pieces but I revamped and by luck it turned out.

Where did the summer go? I'm playing catch up - again! Here are my June and July blocks. Not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but done. I WILL have August and September done by the end of the month.

Delphina & Fabric -just print them out and do your best, maybe just try one, they're really not that hard to do. As I said, I even lost a few points but not worrying about it..lolo Jaba, your blocks are really pretty. Mary Christine, glad to see you working on yours, nice blocks. Glad to see all are working on their blocks.. Keep posting pics.. ;o)
