Hi isewman The applique design file has sat in the computer for a long time ..I looked at how to do applique for quite a while on youtube most of ti was simple single designs..... the Queen of Egypt (4 design files) has (7) seven pieces per panel ..they over lap and its done in two halves like a split design ..the only way I could work it out was with a program SewWhat I could click onto each of the colors and see what the section was doing took a little back and forwarding but I could see what was happening, the instructions that come with the design are very difficult the follow and if you do you will not end in a good place..I will admit the first panel I did , which was the cat scene I tried the three times before I got a work ethic that worked..If anyone wants to do these four scenes I would be happy to help them through......You must be patience or it will do head in real quick...Who ever designed it is very clever...another mistake I made in the lower right corner panel ..brick wall with earn..I thought the brick wall applique material needed to be a brick scene print ..so I digitized a brick file and sewed onto the material before it was glued to the block little did I know it embroidered over the top so that brick file was part of the file ..so that one had to be redone....The hardest part of the Queen was her dress as it has a satin base with fine tulle over it.Had to use masking take to keep it from catching and getting in the way of the foot was a bit of nightmare in the pic the satin looks a different color ..it just a light difference the camera hasen't adjusted too I like the applique look gives good depth the image if you have any questions about this please ask....Zoo
