    You are doing a wonderful job. You should see my first quilt...No way will I put it on here. It was truly a disaster.....I had no idea of how to quilt....I just started sewing. Continue.... you learn something from each quilt you sew. hugs

    No need to be embarrassed...at least you have sewn your beginner's quilt together...mine is still a lovely pile of squares...I hope to get to it in "my old age"...however, since I am already 61 yrs young so I'd better get a move on...lol

    Hey don't be silly. We all start somewhere and I think you are on the right track. Just pick fabric you enjoy and you will learn from each quilt you make. And your taste will change over time too, I know mine has.
