    The red fabric for the stars was quilting cotton. The floral and the brown plaid were both home decor fabrics, the floral linen and the plaid something unknown, both extremely stretchy. When I made some of the other items in my sewing room with these fabrics, I fused interfacing to the back to stabilize them. I didn't do this with the quilt. It was wonky. I dealt with it by straightening it out as much as possible when I quilted it... and of course, quilting can cover a magnitude of piecing flaws if you know what you're doing
