Beautiful quilt and excellent quilting! I have the rulers and really want to make this one, but my quilting will never compare to this!

Wow! I'm in awe of your skill and patience! 30 different thread colors ? How on earth did you stay focused? How big is this quilt? I hope you charged enough for your labor. And I believe it could rack up a lot of ribbons!

Awesome! Do you know the name of the quilt? I'll be on the crew hanging all of them and will look for it with a name (her's--PM me ) or the quilt name.

I actually did change the bobbin to match (all SoFine) but her backing was a mottled medium brown and you really couldn't see it that well---which frankly I was glad since there were SO many stops/starts. I changed thread continously--which is why it took so darn long--cause EVERY piece on this quilt has bias edges and was afraid even with basting that rolling it back and forth would cause problem.
I have this kit and rulers myself (love, love love the design) but been afraid of the piecing with all those bias edges and points!

Beautiful quilt. I am excited to say that I will be at that show and will definitely be looking for this quilt. Three friends and I are driving to Hamilton to visit Missouri Star Quilt Co. and have timed it just right so we can go to the KC Quilt Fest as we head back home. Can't wait. Only two weeks til we take off.
