Thank you for posting all these pictures of the lovely, outstanding quilts! I was at the show too and I live in Paducah. Our guild like that this show is less crowded than the Spring show and can walk the show without being overwhelmed with crowds and take pictures easily. Each show is different. The Spring show this year had all the dogwood trees blooming at their peak. Usually their peak is before the show. Come and join us in 2019! The vendors and the instructors are outstanding and you can add to your stash!

Quilts 1 and 6: I did more research and found that these two gorgeous quilts by Ginny Eckley and Susan Ennis are silkscreened and painted! Not couching, as I had first thought. Many people at the show were staring at them closely, trying to figure out the black lines. Who would have thought they were silk screened?!

Many of the quilts in this show were painted, and many had lots of crystal embellishments. They were really closer to paintings than bed quilts. Quite something to see.
