Birthday Swap 2020/2021
#545
Just finished Step 6 of our Mystery and I just decided this afternoon that our mystery and one other mystery that I finished yesterday will be finished off as Project Linus donations.
The quilt in the photo was extremely easy to make.. I did most of it in about 2 days of easy quilting. The creator of the pattern includes photo of every step along the way and good tips about chain piecing. Her example quilt was scrappy and then is making a second that is Christmas fabrics. This mystery/quilt - a -long can be found at https://www.daysfilledwithjoy.com/.

WMUTeach, lovely quilt. When I’m done with the mystery, I’ll still have many squares left so this might be an good one to make. Part 6 is almost done, just a few rows to stitch together. I’ll be all caught up, finally.

I have been totally and completely smitten but these little squares and have been since the first Birthday Swap a number of years ago. My guild members gently raze me all the time with, "What did you make this month with 2.5 inch squares?" I may make this one again in scraps or each block in a different color. Who knows? What ever the pops into my head when I sit down at the machine again.
