What a lovely work space. Not only is it pleasing to the eye but it looks so organized. I just want to open all the doors and drawers and see how you have your things arranged. If you are ever in Birmingham, Alabama feel free to come over here as I sure could use your eye for detail.

Your comments are just wonderful, thank you so much. To those of you who asked about the cabinetry, etc:
We found our countertops, cubbies and storage drawers at IKEA! I live near the Mall of America where it is located. We knew they had the bookcase that I wanted but had no idea that they had so much more. We spent about 3 hous just looking around.
My U-shaped sewing space is made up of 3 counter-tops (IKEA) and 6 file cabinets that I found on Craigslist. I painted them white.
The cabinetry came from Menards. We bought the unfinished ones and painted them ourselves. I also found an 8-drawer dresser at the Goodwill that needed a little work and I painted it to match the cabinets from Menards.
So...although the space looks very expensive it really was a lot less than you might think.
