Another great UK series is Jackson Brodie, he is a character in Kate Atkinson's books (wonderful British author). I have most of her books. Jackson is a PI in four of her books, his background is ex military and ex police. Loved them all.

CasingHawk, I watched all three of the princess shows on Starz. Can't wait for the next season of Spanish Princess. OneByOne, I'm planning to watch the glass blowing show too.
My husband and I love to binge watch shows. We're watching season 3 of The Handmaid's Tale right now. Before that we watched Peaky Blinders, Walking Dead, LilyHammer, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Orange Is the New Black, Game Of Thrones, Deadwood, Westworld, Divorce, Vikings, Pillars of The Earth, Entourage, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood, Merlin, Tudors, Reign, and Rain. I've watched Designated Survivor and I liked it for the first season, but I had trouble staying interested. Mad Men was good, but my husband didn't care for it. I like period pieces, and Vanity Fair was great.
This isn't exactly on topic, but sometimes, instead of watching tv, we sit on the porch with a drink and listen to a couple of hours of stand up comedy on Pandora on my Kindle. I highly recommend it.
