Default Baltimore album, other fabric in collection and a pieced “Baltimore album”

Hi there, attached are the other fabrics in this collection that I have from a kit I received from my friend’s late grandmother’s stash. This is a bit of a memorial to her. A Baltimore album is traditionally red and green insanely detailed appliqué and embroidered quilt with blocks made up of flowers, wreaths, cornucopia, vases etc. I am attaching a photo of a pastel one and then a photo of a pieced one in the flavor of a Baltimore album for ideas. I know most everyone will piece their blocks and I am very grateful in advance for everyone’s work on this quilt. That’s why I said Baltimore album-ey because we will be doing 19 blocks in 8 weeks and I’m not expecting appliquéd blocks (unless you get inspired to do appliqué of course). hugs!!

Two I've made myself this morning.
A neighboring couple knocked on my door earlier this morning and ask for a broom. He took it and cleaned off my back steps and my car for me. Then she spread kitty litter on the steps for me. They ask if there was anything I needed before cheerfully driving away in their Kabota. I love my neighbors!

    I agree... lovely neighbors.

Great blocks, Libster. I've never seen that star, with the 4 squares on point in the center. Cool.

Well, I commend you all for getting right to shipping. I received 5 packages today which must be a record. Several more are on the way to arrive on Monday. We look like we'll be in good shape to start right on time at this rate.

Libster, you do have wonderful neighbors! I'm finding some of that community spirit here, too.

Rebaquilts. am loving your fabric choices. Look fwd to seeing them in person.

Great blocks, Libster. Your blocks are working up beautifully in your fabric choices.

Libster love all your blocks and it’s wonderful you have such great neighbors.

Went to the local quilt shop today. Last year nothing really jumped out and said buy me. Today I found some great purple batiks, a very fun gnome fabric and a few more lovely fabrics. Met the owner and really enjoyed myself

Janice did you get more snow today?

No. There’s plenty still left on the ground but the roads are mostly clear now. Sounds like a terrific time at the LQS. Bet those batiks are pretty. (Purple fabrics often remind me of Jaba.). Did you find any potential boom material for the future???
