    What does OBW mean?
Thanks, Sharon Torgeson from Washington State.

It seems a shame to cut it up. It already looks like a pieced OBW without all the work. I love the fabric.

I think I would keep it like it is. I'm not a great fan of OBW's they are beautiful but I like the whole fabric. That is way too pretty to cut up in an OBW in my opinion.

I have to add my 2 cents. Don't make this beautiful fabric into a OBW. I see many large 1 piece blocks in it, fussy cut and separated with black, blue or silver-gray fabric (not sashing), it would be stunning. It would look like one of Paula Nadelstern's Kaleidescope quilts without all the work!

Beautiful fabric. I agree with Halo - don't cut it, add borders. It wouldn't be the same if you cut it. Be sure to post a picture when you make it.

or a panel quilt. Can’t find a good link. Alex Anderson did some nice orientals in panels. Another idea would be to fussy cut and use large blocks without too many small cuts to distract from the design. Or, even, a whole cloth with perhaps a series of sparkle borders, print, border, print, border, binding.
    Great idea there!!!!

Whew!!! You all came up with great ideas, and since I have 5 yards of this, just maybe I will do both, OBW and solid. This one is going to have to sit awhile longer I think!!
Thanks for all you great ideas and I am definitely listening!
