Are those beautiful quilts usable or are they more decorative? I'm assuming they are decorative because the top is organza. (I know don't assume. haha)

Oh, and need I even say...anything, that hasn't already been said, here...gorgeous work! :D
I made the first shadow trapunto bag for one of my sister. She wore it day after day, for three month, and the only part that suffered some damage were the corners. The rest of the bag has the organza intact. After that, I made the next bags using just cotton fabrics on the corners.
A purse made from organza is less durable than one made from upholstery fabric, for example. It needs a little more care…but it is more beautiful…
CrKathleen, yes, the quilts are more decorative.

Thank you, Kwhite, for the “bump“.

These are beautiful. Is this a type of embroidery?

I wonder if there was another type of fab that would give you a similiar look that would be sturdier. Those quilts are just so beautiful I would to make one and be able to use it. (My hubby is hard on pretty stuff. haha) I could always make one and pull it off the bed in the evening. Thanks Geta for the inspiration!!! Maybe one day......
