Carriem another great addition!!! I'll be sending you Macy's in the next day or two.
I didn't know how close I was to finishing when I posted before, I thought the corner stars were going to take longer than they did. I have been second guessing myself on every decision but I'm finally done and I'm very happy with how it turned out. I hope it is not too simple, I love this black and white print and didn't want to add too much to distract from it.
Hope this isn't too much black for you Macybaby.

And so ends round 3 for group 2!
Carriemn - love the addition and Jaba put stripes on your center!! those blues colors really work well the others.
Mona - this is one very unique quilt. The colors - the movement - and it all works together. And yes, bringing the black out is what makes it. Love it
I will be sending you the next round tomorrow.

Mona, I like your addition! The touch of pink is great, just what it needed and the b/w mimics the center block! I can't wait until it arrives as I am sure it will entail a trip to the LQS...these are not "Carrie colors" (as my family says) so not something I have much of in my stash...I will have fun shopping.

Mona, I think that looks very nice.
Glad Mona's quilt has made it safely to Jaba, it's always a bit stressful while they are in transit. Now I can start to work on Travelinggramma's top.
So far I've only used "new" fabric for the tree in Mona's quilt. I was making a trip to the LQS and knew I was going to do something with browns so bought a yard of about 4 different fabrics, but ended up going with only one for the tree. I love browns so didn't bother me to be adding that to my stash.

Love all the work going on!
I am quite concerned actually about all this smoke as it relates to my fabric, not so much for me although my lungs are starting to protest more and more. I've left my current project packed and will open it next week after my trip, but it did arrive so no worries there!
We decided to take a rental car and got upgraded to fancy Lincoln SUV. First car either of us have ever driven without keys -- we were thinking my Buick is pretty nifty being from this century and with a key fob to open the doors!
Couple more hours and we will be on the road and off line for a week. I'll have all sorts of rounds and things to catch up on when I get back, so you all take care and keep sewing until then.
