Can you imagine the fun in piecing this? I had a great time quilting it...there was never a dull moment because there was so much to see and think about....I did try to keep all the designs quilted the same throughout the quilt because there were so many things to look at...I still wanted it to feel like it was all the same quilt.
Instead of a stipple I quilted loops in the background to give it some whimsy.....and stay fun...I think this quilt is the type of quilt you could look at everyday and just find something new you love about it every time. Beautiful piecing and construction.
I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA. I used black warm and natural batting.
Thanks for looking.

Gasp! This is AWESOME! Beautiful colors, excellent design, and PURE GENIUS quilting! There's so much interest in this quilt, and the black background keeps it unified. I love how you quilted the background, flying geese, stars, log cabin center, well-all of it. Brilliant!
