Ideas for quick & easy stuff to make for a church sale.
I know this has been asked on here before, but silly me can't find it when I need it.
I have made a lap quilt and DH is working on a wood sculpture for the auction. But we have a "general store sale" also. I have made around 50 pocket tissue holders and a few little quick odds and ends ( pot holders, pin cushions, aprons,..) Was looking on here for some ideas. I know only to go to the experts, so here I am. Ideas Please!!!!!!
Thanks, Penny

I think someone had made little stuffed mice out of felt with leather shoe laces for tails.
Matchbook needle holders.
A cocoa kit - a package of instant cocoa, some marshmallows, a candy cane - with or without a mug.
Bottled water, pop/soda, cookies - but that may be elsewhere at the sale.
Card holders or baskets.
Christmas card "tote" - place for addresses, stamps, cards, etc.
Christmas stockings. Mini ones to use as tree decorations.

Thanks to you all. Thank you Radiana, Tartan, Bearisgray. Some neat ideas that my brain couldn't think of.
Isn't strange you think of stuff or see stuff, but when you need them your brain goes blank!

I Spy game, ten pair of squares of identical fabric, batting, backing fabric the same for all squares. Sew together and turn, sew around edge. Or you could sew with right sides out and pink the edges. Turn the squares so backing shows on a table or the floor and have kids try to turn over and match the pairs. Quick and easy use of scraps and fun for the little ones.
