    Default Sewing/Quilting rooms!

I have a very small area for being crafty...been looking around all evening online that different sewing rooms. I just love seeing all the beautiful pictures and different ways that people organize. Would anyone like to post a picture of their rooms/areas? Would love to see them!!! I will try and find a pic of mine to share as well!

Sadly, I don't have a set sewing room. I use the Livingroom when kids have gone to bed or they are upstairs in their rooms watching tv or gaming lol. My Frontroom has kinda become fabric/furniture/few boxes of books storage but I am slowly working my way through sorting 30 plus binbags of Furnishing/Curtain fabrics to decide what I am keeping and what I am donating to my daughter's school for the Textile Department. (That's not even including my dressmaking, costume making fabrics or my Cotton Fabric collection (I like to buy at least 6 metres of a fabric that or a whole roll or bolt.) Then my notions. They are gonna take some serious shelving and boxes to sort it all out fully lol. I must have 10 kilo at least of Vintage Buttons.

I look at thos fancy sewing rooms on Pintrest tho and think that they just don't have anywhere near as much fabric storage and tho they do look good they are never for people who like to have a lot of 'stash'
I'm working towards it tho. Once we get certain other rooms sorted and things moved around and lots and lots of built in bookcases, then I can look at fully sorting the Frontroom as a Reading/Craft Room. Even then I'll still end up in the livingroom at night while hubby and kids are asleep. That way I can sit on the sofa with my machine in front of me while watching tv and arms reach of the pc

I have my own sewing/quilting/scrapbook/crafting room/area.. but I must say I seem to always drag my stuff in my living room too and enjoy it while with my hubby and watching TV! I have been on vacation for a couple weeks now and I have been working a lot in my studio to organize it more so I do not feel so overwhelmed while I am in there. It is a very small area so I am trying to some up with all the best and easiest ways to organize! .. Thank you for sharing about your space! as long as we enjoy what we are doing, doesn't matter what our area really looks like huh?

Looks great! Thanks for sharing! I have some of those cubbies that I have been working on rolling all my fabric into comic boards to look like mini bolts!

I have a wonderful sewing room (nothing fancy) and if I am cutting, or using a machine I am in there, if I am hand sewing I am usually with my hubby watching TV. If I am in my sewing area for very long, he comes looking for me. i did organize my fabrics on the comic book boards so I had some idea of what I have and how much I have. And lets face it, it is fun to play with the fabric and look busy at the same time. The room gets messy when I am sewing - because I refuse to put everything away before it is done unless someone needs to sleep in the room.

During the holidays it has been used as an area to wrap gifts and to store items while the Christmas items are out. I will be so glad when all the Christmas decorations are put away.

you asked for it and ye shall receive!!

These are both my sewing rooms. The first 4 are of my main sewing room and the last 5 are of where my long arm machine sits. I use both quite a bit.
