Winter boot brands?
Looking for feedback on your fav winter boot . I am looking for warm, everyday, maybe sherpa lined boots. Not so much "snowboot" look. I have snowboots. No Uggs. (Appropriately named...Ugh! Imho).
Looked at Teva brand.(Figuoro) Sounds like they run one size small according to the Amazon reviews tho good reviews otherwise . Looking at Alegria, Merrill.
Thanks!
Sandy

So funny that you mention "winter" boots. I had no idea there was a difference between "fall" boots & "winter" boots until my DD went to Syracuse University (we're from SoCal). "Winter" coats, too, I guess are different than "fall" coats...who knew?? My idea of "winter" shoes is sheepskin-lined flip-flops...

Since moving to So. Cal. I haven't had any winter boots but when I was growing up in the Seattle area I had the best snow boots. Back in 1970 we called them mukluks, not sure what they would be called today. Totally not politically correct now because they were seal skin on the outside and sherpa on the inside. They were so comfy and waterproof. I could wear them in the house and outside.
Sorry this doesn't help you now. But your question brought back the memory of those boots - a friend of mine borrowed them to go on a ski weekend and never returned them.

Didn't buy any boots and not sure what is out there but yesterday finally bought a decent winter coat. Yep for down here. Family lives up north in Indiana and they're cold. In case of emergency, I need to have some heavy winter clothes on hand. Can't stand winter clothes that are heavy and don't keep you warm. quiltingcandy I know your pain. I lost a good winter coat and boots when I went to a winter party. I ended up having to borrow a friend's. I also would much rather wear heavier socks.

I buy all my shoes and boots from "Online Shoes." I signed up for their emails and get coupons all the time. http://www.onlineshoes.com/shoes-boo...oots-list_ct27
