Diamonds for my GrandDaughter!

Diamonds for my GrandDaughter!
Yay! I am so excited about this quilt. My dear GrandDaughter's mom asked me if I could make the quilt in purples and blues. I did not have a pattern but drew it up in EQ and figured out how to piece it together. I used a lot of batiks and moda bleached white. It took me weeks after having finished the quilt top to brave quilting it. I am not sure why, probably because I had never quilted a quilt so large. I think it measures ~ 73 x 91".
Well I finally decided on the E2E quilt pattern and I am thrilled with the result! I have only been doing my own quilting since late August 2017 and have completed 30+ quilts. Yes that is a lot but I Love to design, piece and quilt. My granddaughter, Violet, lives in CA and I am in WA and there is No Way I am missing the look on her face and hugs in person. So she will just have to wait for Grandma to deliver her quilt in person this Spring!

Faboo! I love the E2E you picked for it too. Is this computer guided? The lines are so straight it would be really hard to keep them that way with a panto if hand guided and not using a ruler from the front. It is a great quilting design for a modern style quilt like this.

Yes I have an HQ Avante with ProStitcher. It makes life much easier!
