Please Show or Tell me about your Quillow!
A Quillow is a quilt and a pillow all in one. You can fold the quilt into an attached square and it becomes a pillow.
Please show or tell me about your Quillow. I made the Cowboy quillow for a great nephew years ago. I used a cotton print top and a minky back. I was thinking of making my Grand daughter one and wondered if many quilters make quillows. Please share photos or tips and tricks if you have made one. Thank you!

I did one a few years back.
As I always make my quilts double-sided, I find it a bit difficult to fold it and place in the pocket (pillow) but il is doable with some patience.
In the link below you can see the pocket on the back side

Cute! I made one for my DD years back...she is now 37 and I have covered the main fabric sections twice now as it still gets laundered regularly! The pillow portion is a sunshine and shadows Amish type black with coloured stripes, unfortunately I don't seem to have a picture of it. We used to travel often by train, and it was the perfect blanket/pillow to drag around.
I did a search on the forum here in case I had posted a picture before, I see an old thread back in 2013 with other pictures Quillow Question

I have made a good number of Quillows over the years. I made them for my kids, their friends, my grand children and good friends children a couple years ago so that spans about 30 years. Of course I don't have a pic available to show you. They are a simple quilt with that extra quilt block for a pillow when folded. I always like to make the pillow block 16". This makes it easier to fold up into the pillow. I love your quillows they are so pretty.

Funny this post should come up as I am thinking about making one for my Granddaughter (for Christmas) who just started driving and has a car. I think it would make a great back seat pillow for when it would be needed - such as getting caught in bad weather (heaven forbid), when someone in the car is just cold, etc.
Thanks for sharing.
