I posted this centre recently, asking for opinions on how to orient it. I went with on point and used this wonderful Jinny Beyer fabric for the border and I did my best to line up the colours so they continued the spectrum effect of the centre...- it's now in the quilting queue. It finished at 44" square and I must say I am very pleased with it! :-D

Love it and love how you floated it in the center.

Love that you didn't go with the straight setting, and LOVE the way you really worked that border fabric to your advantage. Genius.

Great colors, great movement, there's interesting things going on all over that quilt. Very refreshing.

It's like an abstract landscape. The beach, land, setting sun/sky.

    Fabulous!
