BEWARE of any emails you get from any company you have an account with OR from unknown persons who contact you. The article below is about a hack into Epsilon, a company that does processing for banks, cc, etc.

    http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Banks-...754015157.html

NOTE that these hackers MAY send you mail where they pretend they are your bank or your credit card company and ask you to log in to a web site that looks just like thE banks or the credit card companies.

IF YOU LOG INTO ONE OF THE BOGUS LOOK-ALIKE SITES, THE HACKERS GET YOUR LOGIN AND PASSWORD, AND THEN GO TO THE REAL SITE AND STEAL ANYTHING THEY CAN GET TO WITH YOUR LOGIN INFO.

****** If you get an email that looks like it is from your bank, credit card company, etc., CALL your bank or CC company using:

****** the phone number on your CC or bank statement to find out if they sent you the email.

****** DO NOT USE ANY PHONE NUMBERS THAT ARE IN THE EMAIL - if the email is bogus, the phone number om the email will a direct line to the hackers, who will be able to pretend to be the bank and get even more info from you.

PLEASE NOTE: Companies that are not banks or CC companies also were affected by this. For example, today I got an email from Best Buy warning of the hackers invasion of Epsilon. NOTE that the email from Best Buy did not ask me to login or to call them. It simply told me to be aware that it happened and watch out for spam trying to get login info, etc.

My bank sent me an email warning us of this breach. They said, that our accounts are not breached. So I hope that no one's accounts is affected.

Please change your passwords for accounts..emails,etc.

if it gets confusing for you, just add a number to what you already have as a password.

    "spam" and "report" anything suspicious.
