I had the shelf for years and I went to Hobby Lobby bought plain white letters.Then I spraypainted everything black an added the white Polka dots........ :-D

I have been on a black ,polka dots kick for some time .. :-D
oh had to edit...use flat paint it looks better,I tried the dsatin and it was to shiny.I used the small bottles of craftpaint for the dots.and the dots I made with the end of a pencil eraser.
