    I am setting up my 4th Meet and Greet

    When: July 30, 2011 (Saturday) 5:15 pm.

    Time: 5:15 pm

    Where: Whiskey Creek Restaurant
    490 S. Reed Road (corner of Reed Road & US 31)
    Kokomo, IN USA

    Banquet Room Reserved for US

    Activities: Dinner, Bring Show and Tell & Demonstrations

    After you get done seeing the 27 Quilt Shops under one roof at the Shop Hop just drive less than 1/4 mile to the south and join us for dinner, be sure to bring show and tell and we will have demonstrations. I have reserved the banquet room for us.

    If you would like to attend please post a note on this thread and also send me a private message (pm) so I can add you to the activity list.

    Yes, I went last year and was so much fun 27 quilt shops under 1 roof along with demonstrations

    I know where Kokomo is. We live in Ft. Wayne for 3 yrs while my husband attended seminary. We love that part of the country,......who knows, maybe we will show up. I have bookmarked you....that would be awesome......all those shops....

    I only wish I lived closer! I would be there in a heartbeat! I hope everyone has a great time and takes pictures to share with us that live too far away! :)

    OK ... you are NOT going to believe why I can't come. It's because I'll be attending the 50th birthday party of my best friends husband. Have other friends from MI, OH, MO, KY, and Maine coming in for it too.

    Here's the weird part, birthday boy lives in Atlanta Georgia. Party is at his parents house. IN KOKOMO!!!

    I'll be IN Kokomo but I can't come!!!

    And no, no chance at all of getting away. Between all the friends that will be there (friends I only see once a year), all the food (*Farm* food!!!), and the other activities we have planned (lots of us are on dog club committee's together), not to mention the fact that it's a 3 hour drive - there is no way I can get away.

    How cruel is that??

    Plan on me and DH. I am hoping we can drive up Friday morning and then spend the night at a motel. He might consider this as a birthday present. Last year we were in Marion for my Birthday and I got to visit the Hall of Fame.

    oh no, you can't sneak away for a few hours to come to the event as 27 quilt shops under 1 roof (Friday and Saturday) and I will have the meet and greet Saturday night
