I made this quilt for my adult son who just loves family and spending time together. I used shirts from his 2 grandfathers, 86 and 80 yrs old. He was so touched and I know he will treasure it always. Both grandpops were surprised to see the end result too. I did add new fabrics for backing, the rusty brown and the deer border, they all hunt.......Now I'm looking for a pattern to make his wife a quilt.

That is beautiful. Great idea using shirts from grandfathers. Will have to go to my daddy's closet :)
