So I must be a horse as I get the most terrible night sweats, it is to do with the pain control I am under, according to my Doc, so I have a terrible problem some nights as the sheets stick to me and try to strangle me so one night I tried sleeping between two quilts, problem solved as the absorb the moisture and don't stick to me.

My present project is to make two complete sets of my designer bedding, to start with to see how I get on, this is the first "under sheet quilt" made from a very inexpensive duvet cover, got 2 sets for under £10/$15.

It was a marvellous practise for my new clover stitch FMQ and my binding which I machine stitch using my blanket stitch on my Elna, looks a bit posh for a sheet I suppose but........... it's me :-D

Is it possible that the quilts work because they were cotton but the sheets didn't because they were percale....a poly/cotton blend?

I'm past that age-related glowing thing now, but have learned I will never sleep on less than 100% cotton sheets again! Ever.
