Hello, I have been looking at all the different sewing rooms,it is amazing.
But whatever the size and however elaberate,(Spelling) the out come is all the same a place to go and be ourselves. I also am a caregiver to my 81 yr. mom. she is for all purposes blind, has a partial hip. Is on a walker,is cantakerous sometimes. but I love her, and she can not live alone. I am lucky I guess, she does understand why I quilt and would do anything to do it with me. I have a nice room, converted screened-in-porch. It has brick columns, on the inside. I think are beautiful. I have an old New Home treadle, in wonderful shape. Thanks to my mom and husband ,my BD present last year.I developed my love of sewing on a singer treadle, learned a lot from it. My computer stuff is at one end. My treadmill and quilt books are everywhere. I don't have much of a stash. But I do try when there is extra dollars. My sewing table is an old computer desk and it makes an ideal sewing table. My brother_in-law made me the quilting frame and the big rotatig cutting table. The thing in the floor my youngest daughter gave to me today, to put my portable tv on. It will mount on the brick column above where it is now. I thing I am blessed.
any ways I took some pictures too. It is in a mess, cuzz today is my 64th birthday and I refuse to do anything but play?LOL

O K here it is, said I would not post pictures but it was raining today and DH could not play golf so he helped me rearrange my sewing/computer room and I have been cleaning all day. This is the best it has ever looked so decided better make pictures. The dresser is leftover for when it was a bedroom and the white chest I got at estate sale, not pretty but sure holds a lot of fabric and sewing notions. Under the sewing table behind the skirt are plastic bins with more fabric.

Will try again, the snowflakes were made by my grandson, the little chair was my grandmothers and behind it is my old record player that still works and I listen to my old records when I sew. My grandson had never seen one and I was playing it for him and he said"Boy, this thing must be a 100 years old!"

This room is right off the kitchen--so I use that table to cut.

What's in the closet--and on the bookshelf:

Thanks for starting this post--I LOVE seeing where everyone creates!! :D
