    Hey there everyone,
I've been keeping tabs on all of you this summer but haven't been posting. I have been stitching though and visiting some quilt shows. If you would like to see some pics  here they are.
    http://gallery.me.com/yvonneericson#gallery
There are photos from the Pacific Northwest Quilt show in Seattle, Wa. More pictures from Quilting In The Garden in Livermore, California. (That's the show Alex Anderson is involved in.) And finally more photos from a quilt show in Santa Barbara, California. Whew! We did have a great time this summer!!!
If you check under "Yvonne's Quilts" and scroll down to the bottom you can see my latest efforts, 9 Patch Party, Strawberry Lemonade, Will's blue quilt and Scrappy Thing. See, I have kept somewhat busy!
I'm attaching Will's blue quilt. It's Rolling Waves and the pattern was in a McCall's Quick Quilts magazine, September, 2008. It's a fast quilt to make. Three different sizes of 9 patches. This quilt is really FLAT but looking at it you'd never guess it. Great optical illusion!

The quilt was quilted but didn't have it's binding on. It's laying flat on the floor. My floor is flat, really!

Final photo. This quilt is 80 inches square. My husband and nephew are holding it up over their heads! It was huge to quilt!

I meant to add in the first note that there have certainly been some wonderful gorgeous quilts posted here this summer. I just can't stay away from checking out what's been created and posted on this site. Amazing!!!

I love your colorwash flower garden quilt!! And the falling leaves!! The convergence ones are cool too and I saw the template of the cat I just sewed on one.

Are the convergence ones from that Rick Timms guy? Is that his name?

    Thanks Karla,
The convergence are from Ricky Tims book. They are so easy and fun to do.

Someday I too am going to make that quilt you're creating. I have had it on my to-do list forever it seems. By the way, your quilt is looking great!

Thanks. I was disappointed in how the 2nd border came out--it's "wonky" (perfect word!). But, hopefully it'll settle once it's quilted.

I have a neat idea for a 2nd one color wise... but it'll have to wait. If I do, I may skip that 2nd border because, well because I can!

I'm going to go look at your quilts again. :D

Beautiful rolling waves! Maybe I'll give it a try after I get more piecing under my belt.
