My mother made the bocks for a Nebraska State flower & bird quilt (all hand embroideried before she was married in 1948. Then she finally pieced and quilted the quilt in the '60's. It is one of my favorites.

She also just made this broken star quilt (and I quilted it) that i just love. I hope i am still quilting at 88.

    Just wanted to share

Tell her they are both beautiful! Don't you love showing your mom's stuff? I sure do and mine will be 81 next month. Your quilting is super also.
