I stopped at a local yard sale today and saw this quilt and asked how much. The woman said 2.00. I asked if she knew that it was hand quilted and she said yes that it was just something that her MIL had given her yrs ago. She said it had a water stain and she really didn't like it anyhow. Well I snatched it right up. A little hot water and oxyclean took the water stain out and it looks great. It's such a shame when people don't care for the love and care it takes for someone to make a quilt for them. This quilt even has scalloped edges.I am proud to give it a new home and to take care of it.

Good for you! So many people do not appreciate the love and time that goes into a quilt.

Oh I would have done that also. It is a very pretty one and could find it's way to my house anytime. :)
