Is anyone going to ..........
Twenty Pieceful Years
http://www.hhqg.ca/quilt_show.html
This quilt show is on next weekend Oct 14 & 15, just outside of Georgetown.
Is anyone going? Might be a chance for a meet and greet for Board Members!!!
(And not far from the Hobby Horse!)
Also, a two stop Shop Hop for October 27th thru 30th is planned for Alice's in Erin and Undercover Quilts in Fergus.

Thanks for the info. I may consider it but the following weekend I'm headed to Toronto for the sewing/needlework festival with a friend. Hubby is sitting here saying we should go to Georgetown, "don't worry about the money, you work hard enough". What a guy, what a keeper!

The location for the show is an easy scoot off the 401 at Winston Churchill .... you don't even have to go to Georgetown .... but of course, you want to go to the Hobby Horse. And oh, the leaves will be perfect next week, so I can send you the back way and see more leaves, and skip Georgetown!
Now make a good supper for that good man!!

I may be going QuiltE. It's only about an hour drive and I've never even been to the Hobby Horse although I have heard about it for years. DD tells me that I would also like Rudi's in Port Credit. I need to round up some quilting buddies and fill my vehicle!

And yes Ruti's too!!
So fill the car .... and get off that mountain and head south to the low country! :)
PS ... met one of your Piecemakers last night at the Fair, while we were both checking our entries!

duhhhh ... never said my plans!
For sure it won't be on Friday, though am hoping to go on Saturday, probably to be there when the doors open! :)
BTW ... while I'm telling everyone about this, I am not part of that Guild (or any Guild) and have never been to this one. Though I hear it's a good show!

Oh, sounds wonderful. I will have to see how organized I am next week, but I if I decide to go it probably should be Friday since the kids and the grandkids are coming for Sunday Granny probably should try to get a few things organized on Saturday.
I picked up a flyer for this one while camping in Paisley. I don't know a thing about it but a quilt show is always good, right.

Some of the ladies from this guild are also in the Halton Guild I belong to and they gave us a nice presentation, and some goodies on our tables for advertising.
I am not going because it's our last camping weekend, and since we didn't get to go for the long weekend (we have a wedding sunday at 4pm...) I'm bound and determined to go out one last weekend.
I am however hitting the Creativ Festival on the 23rd,it's an annual event for about 8 of us.
Hopefully some of us can meet up at the Festival!

I'm definitely not going to Creative Festival in TO.
... though am now marking the FanSee Quilt Show in Teeswater down for a possibility on the 21st or 22nd. Thanks MamaBear!! :)
And on another note ... has anyone been to the Quilt Show at the Art Gallery of Hamilton? Not sure what it's all about though suspect it's not a "traditional"' show!
Plus ... has anyone been to the ongoing quilt show at the Wellington County Museum/Archives between Fergus/Elora??
Must be the "thing" this year for Museums/ArtGalleries, as the Dufferin Museum had a show on textiles. Not sure, but I "think" it's on thru to the New Year for anyone interested. It was interesting, as followed the story of thread/fibre/textiles throughout history.
