    Here it is - AND my first attempt at machine FMQ. I couldn't do it on my old machine, dogs wouldn't drop, so i just bought a machine second hand from a friend and now I can do it! Woo hoo! I think it's the only way to quilt these Ks - no point handquilting them, you just don't see it!

    I used Warm and Natural cotton batting which is nice and thin and wasn't too bulky through the throat, which is just regular size. My stitch length is a bit variable but all in all I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Brilliant to get a top quilted in a few hours instead of weeks! I'll still hand quilt when a more decorative effect is called for but it's great to have the option to machine quilt as well - especially since I plan on making quite a few more of these One Block Wonders!
