At a recent quilt show there was a quilt titled "Dear Me", and it was based on the Dear Hannah quilt, with personalised blocks to reflect the maker's life. It was absolutely stunning! The quilter is Heather Easton, and she does amazing work.

The pictures make the blocks look huge, but they're actually the tiny 4 inch squares as per the originals. The work in them is incredible. It was very hard to get good pictures, was a very popular quilt and always someone standing in the way. ;-)

    Oops... that's meant to be 4 1/2, not 4. :-)

I'm not sure.... I didn't see her at the show, but will ask next time I run into her. She's an amazing lady, everything she produces is stunning.

    4"? 4"??? 4" :?: :?: :?:

That shows one strong passion for quilting--and a master at work.
