I know a lot of you have done a bargello quilt in the past and they have been beautiful.

A bargello quilt is on my todo list, and actually is my next pieced top. I have the strips sewn together but do not know where to go from here. I do not have the book.

My question is.....will someone do a tute like Cutebuns did for the OBW? I followed along with that one and think it went stupendidly and think that this one would work fairly well also.

    Anyone up for the challenge?

I could do a tut for making a simple full size bargello with for these two quilts.
It would take about a week or so, because I'm going out of town for a few days.

    or make it like this

Thanks you Rebecca. That is one of my favorites of the ones I have done.
I have been doing this lay out since the early '90s. People where I live called this lay out Barb's Baregello. Thought it was my original idea... but guess not. I see it in this video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxGM9ZQ64Z0

Until I looked at the video I had never seen a layout like I do.

I imagine Kayla was looking for a tute on a more complicated layout. Mayve someone else will volunteer to do the one she is wanting to make.

They are both beautiful, I would love to see your tutorial especially if it could be put on Youtube. I'm better at visual learning. Have ads
