I am so excited! I have been looking for the perfect hat to wear fishing. It is made from Realtree Camo denim (denim like) fabric.

I am fair skinned and burn easily. So, i did a little looking on the internet and found a free tutorial!! it wasn't the easiest to figure out the first time, but I finally got it. I used freezer paper to make up the pattern and ironed it on my fabric to cut out.

I saved my freezer paper so i wouldn't have so much trouble the next time. i am going to make some pretty ones too. I've had a few inquiries to make and sell them already! That would be great! Tulip bags, and wide-brimmed sun hats. SO much fun!

I still can't believe I did it!! All this time looking in stores and everything was too expensive that i wanted.

cool! where's the tute? I have a hard time finding them for my husband because one size does NOT fit all! he's a small guy and we always have to sew in a thick band to keep them from falling down on his eyes and ears.
