I bought a sewing machine yesterday because it is pretty. Sad reason, but there it is. Anyway, I'm hoping someone can give me more information, maybe even where to find an owner's manual. This machine is cast iron, looks vintage but I'm not really sure because it is made in the Republic of China. They may be still making them there... There is a serial number, but no dates. Motor was made in Japan. I haven't done anything to it yet - it will look even prettier when I clean it up. There's a picture of one of these on needlebar, and one for sale on ebay (also one already sold on ebay) but no information on any of those sites that I could find.

That is VERY pretty, LOL! I would have bought it, too, just for the looks alone!

Post this on the vintage machines thread in the Main section and I am sure either Billy (Lostn51) or Charlee can help you out!
Beautiful-I would have bought it too!

I would have gotten this machine just for my dd because she loves butterfly's. well she is only 2 1/2 but you are never too young to get hooked on sewing right? she is already wanting to cut fabric and pin fabric. next she just needs to get big enough to reach the peddle to machine sew the fabric and hand sew without poking me or herself with the needle.
