Hi everybody! It's been so long since I've been on here, it's terrible! First, life got in the way, then I needed to make this quilt for the first challenge round, then I got a new computer, and then my sewing machine wouldn't work! It's a long story!!
Anyways, I'm back now. I got my quilt finished and got my email account set up yesterday. I feel like I've been put through a wringer!

I got my quilt top finished and I would appreciate your votes! and comments. Here is the link to see my Stained Glass Windows.

Just click Vote and mine is #2.

    Thanks for voting!

I got a new machine on June 1. It's a Brother CS6000I. Problem is, when I got ready to make this and use my new machine, it wouldn't make the 8 point stars. It doesn't want to sew over that many thicknesses of material, plus if the seams are facing the needle, it won't sew over them!!! You have to go over each seam, lift the presser foot and straighten the seam out!!! It's soooo aggravating. I really don't like it. I would not recommend this machine unless you have a lot more patience than I do.

I had to take my old machine, a Singer Model 3820 up to Iola and have it fixed so I could make my quilt. I got the machine back on Aug. 30!!! Then, I started my quilt. Nothing like waiting till the last minute!

So sorry to hear of all your problems; and not having that new machine working is a real bummer. Your new quilt top is beautiful and a work of art. The direct link for voting is: http://ck.upickem.net/engine/Details...864&i=2&m=X#SD
