This is my version of the BOM from Pearl P. Pereira. It was my first experience with raw edge applique and invisible thread. Also the first time I FMQ besides my scarecrow quilt I posted earlier. Learned a whole big lot! I hated the steam a seam 2 suggested because it did not seem to stick very well for all the smallest pieces . Went with wonder under lite but it got a little stiff- tried just the edges being fused and cutting out the middle part of wonder under but got a ridge. If anyone knows of a better product or way please advise me of it.

I have had a lot of inquiries so I am posting lots of pics. Constructive criticism and helpful suggestions welcome.

I made the cat a little more alert

This is the whole quilt. You can see the center block is the biggest change.

My quilt has frogs and skeletons added

I downsized the candy cauldron main block

The spiders all have red seed bead eyes

I tried to quilt in some fun like this spooky hand

This replaced the cat head block

Can you see the spider web?

I redrew the brooms and opened the cat's eyes.

So this is the last thing I need to do. As you can see I redrew the witch block a little. But the quilting- do I keep this round stitching that I have started or should I rip it (will it show?) and restitch with a horizontal back and forth sort of hazy like?
