Blank Quilting just put up *lots* of new fabric pictures on their site! This group is called "Yellowstone". Only three designs in this group, but they are going to be available on regular cotton and also flannel.

I have two questions: the first picture, are those elk?

Secondly... which do you think would be more useful, regular cotton or flannel?

Yes they are elk and I prefer cotton over flannel. Thanks for showing us this line of fabric.

I prefer working with cotton - unless it's a guy quilt. They tend to love the feel of flannel and those fabrics I would more than likely use to make a guy quilt.

I use a lot more cotton than flannel, but this fabric would make a nice back in flannel. I really like the patterns on these fabrics, but I am not sure I love the colors. My brother who is the hunter of our family would love these kinds of fabrics.

I live in Montana & have been to Yellowstone many times, but have never seen a blacktail! Lots of mule deer & whitetail (which we also have on our ranch).

I would lean towards the flannel, but either one would be nice.

love those Elk in 1st pic and the deers in the 2nd one, those buffalo are gorgeous. Depends what you're making to use either cotton or flannel but I think cottons is easier to do....
