This is my Tie quilt that I made for a class our guild had. Every single Bowtie is made from an actual tie that I cut up.

Love your quilt. I too made one using ties. It was made to celebrate our pastor's 20 year anniversary with our church. Each deacon gave two ties that were to represent them, that they hated to wear or that their wife hated to see them wear. I foundation pieced & one of our chior members, who is an award winning machine quilter finished it up. It really turned out nice. I'll try to share a pic here if I can figure out how to add one. Would love to see what others have done with their ties. Still have boxes & boxes I want to make into quilts.
