My DH picked out the fabrics for a tumbling block quilt a while ago (and it got done). Recently, while sorting my scrap bin, I found 24 little blocks and hand-sewed them together for a wall hanging. Well - it looked too wonky and I turned it into a pillow. Now he can be warm and rest his head. Interesting to see how much the washing has faded the quilt.

That is perfect. Lots of times, I make a pillow to match the quilt too.

Very nice and your DH looks very happy with his quilt and pillow. That is a great idea to make a pillow with the leftover blocks.

Beautiful! My second favorite block. It makes a really nice set! Pat looks really happy, too.
