I need some help! I need to make a quilt start to finish in 2 weeks( About 4 hrs per day) just a large lap size( maybe 50 in by 70 in. with 3 or 4 colors. I haven't been quilting all that long (only about a year). I bet some of you great quilters out there have a couple of "go to" patterns for a quick but nice quilt.

I used fat quarters and made a disappearing 9 patch (D9P) and was fast and fun, good luck on your pattern hunt

I agree...I made my top in one day and then the binding on another day. Done.

Here is a link to a you tube tutorial for a 10 minute block using only 3 seams. It's quite pretty, too.

It should help you get them done in time.

This looks like a fun quilt and perfect for the quilt I want to make my boys (they are grown and what something simple).

Thanks for posting this I did a baby quilt with this block on a smaller scale but never thought of doing it with larger pieces!

Thanks wolfkitty, I love those u-tubes and can't quit watching them. So much information. I'm going to try that 3 seam block now.
