Good morning. My DH has a business trip to the quad cities in a couple of weeks and I'm tagging along. Are they any "don't dare miss 'em" quilt shops in that area? Looking forward to mapping out two days of visits.

there are 2 that i know of in Moline, on the Avenue of the Cities, that is the name of the road, one is the The Quilt Basket, the other is Quilts by the Oz, they are pretty close to each other, within a mile anyway. If you have more time, up the river on the Iowa side is a shop called Expressions in Thread, in Le Claire. Its only about 5 miles up from interstate 80, so its not too far. About 30 miles up the river, in Clinton, Iowa, is a shop called Sew Many Things. Across the river from Clinton is a shop called Susan's Calico Creations.

Thanks for the info. I'm really looking forward to the trip. I feel like I'm at a quilt show every time I enter a new shop. The display quilts are always amazing.

I had a great haul from Expressions in Thread in LeClaire. The others didn't really have any good sales. Thanks so much for your suggestions!
