I just loved this pattern she was so different. Her name is Fancy Suzie. by Bea Yurkerwich. I have never appliqued before and I thought it was going to be hard. Then one of my quilt friends told me to use used dryer sheets on the pieces. Just sew right sides together leave a little opening and turn. Press and you are ready to applique your pieces to the blocks with the edges already turned under.

Great job. I've done it that way before and it sure is so much easier. I usually sew all the way around then make a slit in the back and turn. The quilt is beautiful.
