Thank you, that is so nice of you to post. Looks like a great block and so quick to do too.

Thank you so much for the tute! I was having difficulty figuring out how the bow tie block (which the 10 minute block looks like) could take only 10 minutes. How simple, with no set in seams! Thanks.

I've seen lots of post mentions of 10-minute blocks, but this is the first explanation I have seen! Only place instrtuctions lost me was pic #6, but I can figure it out from the next one.

It does look like the top fabric is attached to the left side. I should have made that a little more distinct.

This is a video of Suzanne McNeil demonstrating the making her 10-minute block.

    Hope this helps.

Deb, I made one block - great tute...I am now wondering if you have ever join bocks with the catherdal windows in all the corners? Does this sound posssible? I keep running this idea through my mind and I am not sure. judy

It is possible. I ordered the book from Amazon and there was one or two quilts made (and instructions for) with the "window" in each corner! It was beyond my beginner capabilities, but I'm sure anyone with more than a year under their belts could do it.

    OK Deb,

I will let you know if I figure it out... I think I may have to do some un-sewing in order to add on to my 1 block I have made.
