    The points are made by folding the corners at each end into triangles that meet, but don't overlap. Sew them down to keep them in position. Hope that helps.

    I used iron on 'firm' pellon on the back side of one of the fabrics. That gave the table runner 'body', and allowed me to use the tube method, too. You could probably do the same thing with iron on batting, or you could sew batting on the back of one of the fabrics and then make the tube.

    The pattern I use is 9" wide center fabric and 18" wide border fabric but the same instructions. Batting or not up to you.

    I use 12"WOF for center and 24" WOF border. It comes to 17 1/2 " wide and 41" inches long. Thiis my favorite size.
