    I used a piece of corregated cardboard box it helps to ride the fabric against it -keeps me in line I tend to have a gas foot even while sewing :roll:

    I love the idea of the rubber band but I use a quilting table that slides on the free arm so can't use the rubber band. I use a piece of blue painters tape to anchor down either the moleskin or post-it notes to the machine and table. Unlike masking tape, it comes off clean to change bobbins.

    it is not a problem, my feed dogs are perfect to match my sewing feet(jnome 6600)..lol
    and i still used a post it pad..

    in the same line of this topic I check my machine for accuracy by taking an index card and sewing on the blank side of the card. the stitches should run down the line on the front side of the card as the lines are 1/4 " apart.
